The Arek Institute invites individuals from various backgrounds to participate in the publication of articles on our website. This is aimed at offering fresh ideas and insights regarding the research domains we develop because it is one of our goals to prioritize the discourse of Arek Studies. Before writing with us, it is advisable for our dear readers to read the following text below!

Terms and conditions for submitting article contributions:

1. The articles of Arek Institute revolves on the particular theme which is cultural studies withing the Arek subculture. You elaborate those topics with the specific theme on our article categorisation, such as:

• Arek-Arek

Arek-Arek is documenting and covering the topic about art and culture in the domain of Arek subculture. This theme also covers submission with other formats, such as: poetry, short story, photography, and artworks.

• Kampung

Kampung is the sub category of our article that covers about socio-cultural phenomena in the domain of Arek Studies. So, this sub-theme will discuss about the cultural practices or ideas among Arek subculture people.

• Kelana Masa

Kelana Masa is covering the issues of history in the domain of Arek Studies. This theme have the focus on the issues of transition or the origin of Arek subculture in the historical perspectives.

• Kidung

Kidung has the focus of the literature studies that revolves or publishes around the Arek subculture regions. It also covers to study about the literature that have intersected with Arek subculture phenomena.

P.S.: Poetry and photography submissions should be send as the catalogue which is contained 7-8 works. The author also have to put the main title for their submissions.

2. The article should be written in the 750 – 1500 words.
3. The rights of authorship are owned by the author. So, you can republish your works in other media or websites after 5 days of publications. Don’t forget to inform us by email and provide a note that your article was first published on our website, if you want to republish the articles.
4. We only accept article with credible sources. The article should be written in the in-note or hypertext citation.
5. Send the article to our email with Google Docs link.
6. Write the subject for the email format as the full name of the author, for example:

Kampung – Haris Firismanda

7. Send the picture and brief profile of the author also.
